Depending on the reports you read you will get a variety of answers. My experience here is South Orange County has been that things are picking up. Slowly but they are improving. This seems to be across all sectors of the market from the lower priced inland homes to the higher end waterfront properties.

For buyers this is good news as some of these properties (especially the more expensive ones) have been on the market for quite a while. That being the case (some) owners are more motivated to sell and willing to negotiate a lower price. As a sellers agent it’s a tough spot to be in. I want to get my client the best possible deal but after five or six months they get antsy.

The short answer is yes - things are getting better and I think they will continue to do so. I hope things in Seattle are picking up for you as well. Please stay in touch and let us know.
Regards,
Robert
