If you’ve been reading this blog the past couple weeks it’s no secret that Christmas is an emotional time of love and reflection for me. The fact is I’ve been blessed with friends and family that help remind me to take a daily inventory of my life – not just during Christmas. An inventory of the bad AND the good. Any ya know what? I’m OK.
I hope each and everyone of you take a moment to look inside and I pray that you realize that you’re OK too.
A friend of mine sent me this video. I was so moved that I just had to post it. It’s called 45 Lessons In Life. It’s three minutes long and I think its worth every single second.
Here are few of my favorite lines and images from the movie:
- Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don’t worry, God never blinks.
- Make peace with your past so it won’t screw up the present.
- Don’t compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
- Forgive everyone everything
- No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
- What other people think of you is none of your business.
- Your children only get one childhood.
- All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
And if that’s all too heavy for you try this:
When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
Here’s the movie. I hope you enjoy it:
